We are pleased to inform you that we have now completed the installation of our 2 community access defibrillators (CAD) which are registered with the emergency services.
What is a Defibrillator and what’s it for??
An automated external defibrillator (AED) enables people with minimal experience to give lifesaving emergency treatment to a person suffering from a cardiac arrest.
If someone is having a heart attack or goes into cardiac arrest, phoning 999 will advise where the nearest defibrillator is and the code on how to access it. The defibrillators are automated and instructions on how to use it are clear.
Having a CAD means that it is accessible 24 hours a day and can be used by the local community as well as members and visitors to the club.
One Defibrillator is located on the wall of the Golf Shop, the 'what3words' location is ///verse.vase.slam
The cabinet access code is C159X
Our second Difibrillator is located adjacent to the 4th tee, the 'what3 words' location is ///anyone.flesh.twigs
